Germany Trips

These are the stories of our trips to Germany. In 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2016, we visited our German family. The family visits were always coupled with sight seeing tours. So far, we have visited nine of the 16 German states and also took short trips to Switzerland and Austria.

2010 The 2010 trip started in Switzerland. We spent a couple of days with Volker's friend Frank in Württemberg, visited Austria and Bavaria, and stayed with Julia and Kay in Thuringia, before moving on to Potsdam.

2016 In September 2016, Volker went to Germany for two weeks, visiting Potsdam, Berlin and Brandenburg and Julia's and Kay's new home in Franconia.
