Bird Watching at Lake Rockwell, Woodbridge, California

In the center of our community is Lake Rockwell, a small artificial lake. There are not very many waterbodies in the Central Valley and local birds find out fast if there is a new one, especially if it is one that is constantly stacked with fish. A number of birds stop by here every day, and some have made it their permanent home. Recently, we noticed a group of Great Egrets, a pair of Blue Herons and a young Cormorant.
