DEMON BOUND The entire set of principles needed to bind a demon to an item is known to nobody. At best three or four of the many score are known to any one individual. The reason for this is that the very act of learning one draws life out of the student while using the rituals to bind a demon sells a fragment of the soul to one of the dark gods. Even so, the fee for these weapons is indescribable, encouraging a gifted few to keep up this trade despite the risks. The runes are very powerful making the invested item invulnerable to all but powerful magic. Demons are bound for both destruction and protection. So far, the following Demon Bound items have been discovered:
In rare cases, Demon Bound Armour also appears as Protective Armour. |

DEMON HIDE Having the skin of a demon is not nearly enough. The hide must be cured using rituals to prevent it bubbling away or turning on the owner. This requires dark rituals in which the soul of a virgin is used to snare the evil within. The pure blood is slowly dripped over demon hide, flowing from a wound that cannot be seen. For this reason, few of these items are ever made, and those that are, by special demand from the followers of the dark gods. So far, the following Demon Hide items have been discovered:

LIVING Living items are those that have a part of the forger and more often their personality. While the attitude of the item is often along the lines of their purpose they can often be a source of company. Even so relentless encouragement to attack everything by a sword while a suit of armour constantly begs the wearer to run away can become a bit annoying. Their living status also gives them some power of movement. Swords have been known to guide the wielder's arm to give a vital strike while armour virtually hurls the wearer away from certain death. PRINCE's SHIELD Sparkling with silver and gold, the shield is worth a kingdom in its own right. Made with powerful magic, the back of the shield is covered in runes of protection while the face is studded with protective gems. The whole face of the shield glows with an inner power. So far, the following Prince's Shields have been discovered:

PRINCE's HELMET The prince's helm is decorated in gold crests yet still bears an uncanny likeness to that of a young man of regal appearance. There is no eye slit in the helmet, but the wearer is still able to see though a pair of facetted blue gems. From the outside it is as though a god was watching through a pair a piercing blue eyes that could see into the very soul. Like many items, the creation of these was lost with the falling empires. So far, the following Prince's Helmets have been discovered:

SHADOWY ARMOUR If folklore is to be believed, this armour is made from the spinning of ethereal creatures as they remain trapped in the summoner's circle. The armour constantly writhes and ghostly faces seem to form, silently crying out in anguish. Weapons thrust into the armour seem to penetrate but do little damage to the wearer. This is due to the armour imparting something of its insubstantial nature to the wearer. Unfortunately those that wear this armour are plagued by nightmares and can never seem to get warm. So far, the following Shadowy Armours have been discovered:

SUMMER BLADE Forged from the essence of fire elementals by powerful mages, these are incredibly rare but are also very powerful. Always hot to the touch, they even char the sheath or scabbard after a few weeks. They have the common appearance of a blade that resembles a leaping flame, with a near red centre and yellow edges. So far, the following Summer Blades have been discovered:

WINTER BLADE As these weapons consist of a pure white metal blade with a blue steel hilt it is hardly surprising that they have been dubbed the Winter Blades. They seem to suck the warmth out of the very air and leave a fine layer of frost on any wound they inflict. They are known to cut like the winter wind, somehow seeming to pierce to the very bones despite protection. So far, the following Winter Blades have been discovered:
In rare cases, Winter Blades also appear as Slaying Weapons. |

WIZARD's ROBE These robes are rare. The reason for this is that they are produced over the lifetime of the magician weaving their own beards and hair into a garment. This is obviously inherently magical and is able to accept glyphs and wards of protection. The final robes appear as whatever the magician pleases, changing both style and colour at the wearer's whim. What cannot be hidden is the magical glow that always surrounds them. So far, the following Wizard's Robes have been discovered:
