The first three days of our vacation we spent with Frank at Lake Constance. He took us on some really remarkable day-trips! On September 13, Frank went with us to Bavaria to visit the fairy-tail-castle of King Ludwig II. |

At the only rainy day of our trip, we took a two hour road trip to
Schwangau, an almost 1,000 year-old town in Bavaria, famous for not just one,
but two castles.

Neuschwanstein was our destination for today. The second castle, Hohenschwangau, we saved for the next time. |
