Pergamenthandschrift M II 141 is a fifteenth-century manuscript deposited at the
Forschungbibliothek (Research Library) in Gotha, Germany.
The manuscript contains a complete set of depictions of Ptolemy's
48 constellations.
The plates appear to be copies of a set of fourteenth-century illustrations of the
Alfonsine Tables, which in turn were inspired by the early
tenth-century drawings in Al-Sufi's Book of Fixed Stars.
I have included them in my collection as I do not have a complete set of the Alfonsine Tables illustrations, which, in my opinion,
represent one of the most elaborate early western variations of Al-Sufi's drawings.
