The Fishes

Pisces is a large though faint Zodiac constellation in the northern celestial hemisphere.

It is one of the 48 original Ptolemaic Constellations.

Pisces is visible in the northern sky between October and December.

The ecliptic and the celestial equator intersect within this constellation and in Virgo.

The word Pisces is the Latin plural for "fish".
