Scorpius is a large Zodiac constellation in the
southern celestial hemisphere. In medium northern latitudes, it dominates the summer sky. Scorpius has been know as a constellation even prior to Greek mythology. It is one of the 48 original Ptolemaic Constellations. Legends about the constellation can be found in many cultures. |
